Bayer partners with Gnowbe to introduce micro-learning to pest management professionals
Singapore, June 06, 2019 – Bayer, a global leader in providing solutions to safeguard public health, has partnered with Gnowbe, a pioneering mobile micro-learning platform, to develop the industry’s first micro-learning courses for pest management professionals in Asia Pacific.
The new platform will provide learners with easy access to Bayer certified content in a mobile-first and digital environment. These modules will offer comprehensive online training that equips learners with the right knowledge, skills and techniques to succeed in the pest management industry. Learners will also receive certification upon completion of each course. Initial content on the platform will focus on the fundamental basics of pest control and Gnowbe will continue to expand the course catalogue in due course to include higher-level aspects of managing a pest management business.
“Training is a critical aspect when it comes to professional pest control and as part of our continued efforts to support the industry – we wanted to empower pest control operators with knowledge curated from Bayer experts worldwide consolidated into one easy-to-use mobile learning platform,” said Nadim Mohr, Head of Asia Pacific, Environmental Science, Crop Science Division, Bayer. “Now, everyone who registers will have access to Bayer certified micro-learning modules and upgrade themselves on the go.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Bayer and contribute towards professionalising the pest management industry in this digital age, with the solutions they need, right in their pockets,” said Loh Chi Ming, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Gnowbe.
And in celebration of World Pest Day, Gnowbe is offering a free trial of a cockroach module for a limited period only.
